Located right by the sea. 12 min from the airport, 14 min from Northern Norway's largest shopping center and 20 min from the city. Great convenience store 4 min away. If you are looking for a place where you can explore the nature around Tromsø this is perfect for you. You can go directly from the house to the mountain or into the valley of Tromsdalen, this will give you easy access to see the northern lights. It is a few minuts to the bus who takes you to the senter of Tromsø (10-15 min. by bus) and you can also walk (30-40 min)

Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.

Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage. Reindeers and other animals also live in this area.
