Welcome to our home on the Truckee River. The downstairs has an open floor plan with the living area, kitchen/dining & the den all connected with beautiful reclaimed oak hardwood flooring. Granite counters, hickory cabinets, hot tub. The hot tub over looks the Truckee river and all it's beauty. We are a short distance to downtown Truckee and all there little shops and we are 5 minutes outside the Ski Resort Village. Most have told us it's a hidden- GEM. Bird watch, fish or just relax. Vista Azul is a warm and inviting home with glorious lake Views, natural light and walking distance to a small beach. Inside the open floor plan creates a welcome environment to converse late into the evening. Upscale, comfortable Furnishings provide a cozy atmosphere for preparing food for all the family. The kids will enjoy having their own bunk room plus the Kasbah area to stretch out, read and relax. Outside, the hot tub, fire pit and Lawn area are great for watching sunrises and sunsets.

LAKEFRONT CABIN right on the Lake! Step onto the sandy beach right from your deck. Enjoy panoramic lake views from within your cozy cabin with gas fireplace, back dropped by the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains. Lots of natural light floods the space equipped with full kitchen and a separate bedroom with queen bed. There is a full bath and 2 twin day beds that serve during the day as the sofas. Paddle board or kayak right from the deck. The views and ease of enjoyment are endless.

Across the street from a dog-friendly beach, famous Garwoods restaurant and pier, centrally located to all major north shore ski resorts (Northstar, Diamond Peak, Palisades/Squaw, Alpine, etc) and walking distance to kayak rental and Tahoe National Forest w/incredible hiking, biking, snowmobiling and snowshoeing trails, this home’s location couldn’t be better. We recently updated this home in the last few years & constructed a new loft & bathrooms—we love sharing it with guests!

Lakeside Pine Haven

Six years ago Megan and I spent our anniversary in Carnelian Bay. We came for a long weekend, sat out under the pines, and decided before we left that we wanted a place here. Pine Haven is that place, and we share it hoping it becomes part of someone else's story too. The lake is a two minute walk. There's a private hot tub in the fenced backyard, surrounded by pines, and paddleboards you're welcome to take down to the water. Central air for August, a fireplace for February.

Truckee River Bike House

ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants and shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you prefer a softer bed.

Donner Lake Getaway

This newly remodeled lovely condo is right on Donner Lake, 4 miles from SugarBowl and right off exit 180 on interstate 80. In the winter this is great access to town, all ski areas, and Donner Memorial State Park. In summer, you are on the lake, across the street to the boat ramp, and have access to a private beach that is a 5-10 minute walk. Perfect for families this condo can sleep up to 6 people. The condo was just renovated in December 2023.
