Welcome to Hacienda de las Rosas, retreat, and home of Hacienda Happy Tails, an Animal Sanctuary. We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! Collide with the breathtaking views of the Eastern Sierra's and transform your stay into an experience with one of nature's wonders. Close to Mt Whitney portal, Horse shoe meadow and famous other trails, excellent for day hikes. We are in the epic center of the lowest( Death Valley),highest(Mt Whitney) and the oldest(Bristlecone tree forest).
