Deze prachtige rustige accommodatie ligt pal voor een park. U heeft eigen opgang en prive tuin / terras die afgesloten is. Castricum aan zee is rijk aan wandel en fiets routes in de duinen, bossen en bollenvelden. En ons Noordzee strand is per fiets prima bereikbaar. Ook heeft het een trein station met Intercity aansluiting. Alkmaar en Centraal Amsterdam is 20 minuutjes. Cafés en restaurants zijn ruim aanwezig in het mooie Castricum. Een groot winkelcentrum en supermarkten zijn 7 dagen open.

Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Standaardprijs is voor 2 personen; een extra volwassene is €30,- per nacht; een baby (0-2 jaar) is €10,- per nacht. Alle ruimtes zijn op de begane grond en een deel van de tuin (incl. meubels) is beschikbaar voor gasten. De woning ligt 5 km van het strand en op 400 meter van het treinstation. Goede verbindingen naar Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Utrecht of Zandvoort.

Free parking on the street or in a private parking lot if there is no space in the street.

Step outside into the picturesque streets and canals and take a walk in the city park around the corner. Discover the historical monuments or visit the cheese market, explore the many boutiques or cafes and restaurants nearby. On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.
