Springvale Farm Cottages: Wilde Als

Wilde Als is a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom cottage with an open plan living area and an indoor fireplace. It is set slightly away from the other cottages providing unrivalled privacy.

Otters Creek, Midlands Meander

Otters Creek is nestled in the hills of the lovely Natal Midlands Meander with views over the Mpofana River, natural forest and rolling countryside. We are located 10mins from Michaelhouse and 30mins from Midmar Dam. Relax in the peace and quiet of nature, walk along and fish the lovely Mpofana River and explore the small home stores and activities of the Midlands Meander from this peaceful haven. Easy access to local wedding venues, Michaelhouse School and local Midlands Meander attractions.

The MatopHouse – an idyllic Midlands escape

Solar-powered MatopHouse is a very carefully considered sanctuary. It's enveloped by a garden frequented by birds, hares, a mongoose and duikers, and has views of the distant Karkloof hills. The house is full of character (and books), and is a tranquil space in which to read, write, cook, create – and to simply "be". Set on a quiet eco-estate on the fringe of Howick, it is conveniently close to the Ambers, the Karkloof trails, the Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, and numerous cafes and attractions.

Pennygrove Cottage, 4 Sleeper Midlands getaway

Quaint 4 sleeper cottage with an exquisite dam view... the perfect place to unwind and relax. The smallest of three units on the property, it is perfect for couples, or a small family looking for a beautiful Midlands break away. (The other units are a 6 Sleeper Farmhouse - please see 'Pennygrove Farmhouse' and a 6 Sleeper shed conversion - see 'Nguni Cottage') Lovely walks and Bass fishing to keep you busy during the day, and a fire pit for those cold Midlands nights. Yellowwoods Farm - WILLOUGHBYS COTTAGE

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on. Willoughbys has both inside and outside table/chairs & braai facilities - Weber as well as outside braai+'firepit'. WiFi and DSTV.

Hilton Wetland Retreat

Tented River Camp in Karkloof valley

Tented luxury comes to the Karkloof in our brand new river frontage unit — inspired by the classic safari tent, but with every comfort and elegant finish you could dream of. This is glamping at its absolute finest! It is best to have a high clearance vehicle to get there. This modern self-catering unit is nestled on a working farm in the Yarrow Valley, Karkloof, and is home to picturesque mountain views, kilometers of trails, the Karkloof falls and the Midlands meander.

The Fox and Hound

The Fox and Hound is situated in the leafy village of Hilton, close to upmarket shops, restaurants, schools, The Hilton Life Hospital and the popular Midlands Meander. It has a cosy living area, with a wood burning fireplace, full Dstv channels, and a well appointed open plan kitchen. Two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two singles, and the option of mattresses on the living room floor for extra guests. Free WiFi is available.

The Snuggery Cottage - your snug Howick stay

Welcome to The Snuggery Cottage in the picturesque town of Howick, gateway to the KZN Midlands. Nestled in a 1940s property with solid brick walls and oodles of character, the Cottage is ideal for one or two people. Whether over-nighting, or staying longer, guests are welcome to unplug, visit our chickens and ducks, light the fireplace, play card games, read a book or head out and enjoy the sights and beauty on offer in the KZN Midlands.

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.
