The View Albert Falls - The Cottage

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful environment while you take in the view. Cute, compact and comfortable... THE COTTAGE is a gem! Forming part of "The View's" trio of cottages, THE COTTAGE is 150m from the main homestead aka The View, as well as Maflute's. All our cottages operate on solar and gas and fresh water is plentiful and delicious. We provide a limited amt of wood and ice, 1L milk, tea and coffee, and if you enjoy a filter coffee, bring your favourite flavour. See you soon

The original Manor House of Fordoun can be yours for your next family vacation or school reunion. A beautiful, private home filled with many spaces to relax and unwind. A warm country kitchen and large dining spaces allow for long and slow lunches and great conversation. Situated on Fordoun Hotel estate, the house, even though independent from the hotel, offers access to magnificent hikes, scenic runs and mountain bike rides with great views of the Drakensberg. Space abounds and rooms aplenty.

Courtyard Cottage

Take some well-deserved time out in your own private Courtyard Cottage, comfortably equipped with all that's needed for a secluded stay, lounging with a book in the hammock, cooking homely meals or reminiscing around the firepit and braai. Alternatively, for those seeking adventure, the farm is securely located within the Midlands Meander, where guests can find breathtaking mountain views, hiking and picnic destinations, children's activities, restaurants, boutique shops and historical pubs.

Midlands Manor is situated on the picturesque Natal Midlands Meander route and offers visitors luxurious accommodation and spectactular views. Conveniently located next to Michaelhouse school, the home overlooks a nature reserve and is close to the various restaurants and attractions offered in the area. A mere 1 ½ hour drive from Durban and 4½ hours from Johannesburg, this recently renovated home has a pool and is the perfect holiday home to experience life in beautiful surroundings!

Pearse Farm Stay

A large thatch farm house on a running family egg farm. The property has been in the family for generations and is the perfect spot for a group to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Cattle to see in the surrounding fields, a large pool to cool off in, large garden for all ages to enjoy. Easily accessed from the N3, a short drive on a dirt road to the best of both worlds. Remote & peaceful, yet super close to town & restaurants. A peaceful place to enjoy and relax in.

The Cottages - The Old Mushroom Farm

As the name suggests, the farm was once used to grow mushrooms, but has since been renovated into modern accommodation and is now an attractive destination for the whole family- including pets! There is plenty to do and see on the farm with multiple shops, restaurants, kids play area, food garden and more also on the property. Work out at the gym, grab a morning coffee, pick up some fresh bread, and forage for your lunch- all a short walk from where you’ll be staying.

Lake Lintrose Self Catering Cottage No 1

Lake Lintrose is s self catering cottage that sleeps eight guests. Cottage one has 3 queen size beds, one room en suite and a room with 2 single beds. There is another shower and toilet with a further single toilet and hand basin. The lounge and kitchen area is open plan with a fireplace. There is also an outdoor verandah with seating and a fireplace to braai. The cottages overlook the beautiful Springrove dam and the magnificent Drakensberg mountains.

Beacon Vlei Guest Farm - Otter cottage

Beacon Vlei is situated on the Midlands Meander in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands South Africa. We have 5 self catering cottages which are all fully equipped with satellite TV, fireplaces for winter, fully equipped kitchens, en suite bedrooms and magnificent views over our 23 hectare private dam which is well stocked with large mouth Bass. The perfect spot for the avid Bass fisherman. We are a family friendly establishment and we are pet friendly.

Petit Provence Manor House

This peaceful farm will leave you feeling rested and at one with nature. Enjoy leisurely walks, swim in the dam and soak up the beautiful surrounds. The 5 bedroom French style home is tastefully decorated with old world charm and all the modern necessities. Think family gatherings, board games, cosy fireplaces and lots of cooking in this gorgeous manor house. Functions are allowed on request and friendly dogs are welcome.

Located in a very central, peaceful part of Hilton, with shops and restaurants a 2 minute drive away, this flat has everything you need for comfort - modern seating, comfortable queen size mattress, quality linens, with wonderful views and a dedicated braai area. There is a small inverter to keep the basics running during a municipal electricity outage.
