In the heart of the Sandhills, quaint 2 bedroom home is located in Ainsworth, 10 miles from Long Pine, NE. Wood floors throughout, comfortable leather furniture, king bed in master, 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom, wifi, 55” LED TV, full size washer/dryer, stove, microwave, kitchen table w/ 6 chairs, tub/shower, full size fridge, propane grill, lawn chairs. Shampoo, soap, coffee provided. Additional twin bed available on porch (spring / summer / fall - AC on porch. Not ideal during cold weather).

School House Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet and remote. You will see plenty of wildlife and the stars at night, and listen to the coyotes howl. Located 3 miles southwest of Johnstown, NE. This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure is Located right off HWY 97 on your way to Merritt Dam. We would love to host you during your time in the Heart City! Our cozy little space has all that you will need for time away and we aim to make you to feel right at home. It is located close to the Bait shop and all of the restaurants, gas stations, Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, and more. There is plenty of room on the property for parking your RV, trailer, or boat as well. We can’t wait to host you for you stay!

Great location, centrally located in Winner. 5 bedroom 1.5 bathroom. Fully stocked with anything & everything you may need for your stay. *Pets are allowed with $50 non-refundable fee. This will be added to your invoice. Pets are allowed in heated laundry room, or in the front porch, not in the main part of the house.

Merritt Dam Road Hill House

The Merritt Dam Road Hill House sits high up on the hill overlooking Merritt Reservoir and the Snake River. This gorgeous cabin has vaulted ceilings, a wide open design, 2 bedrooms on the main floor, a loft with 3 beds, a cozy fire place, and 2 decks to enjoy the most scenic view of the sand hills. This cabin is located just north of Merritt Dam and only a few miles from the Snake Falls Sportsman's Club, Prairie Club, and Cap Rock. Make your next trip to Valentine even more memorable!

Sandhills Retreat

Sandhills get-away right off the main highway and extremely close to town. Halsey National Forest is just a few minutes away and many great Refuge lakes are in the area between Thedford and Valentine. Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property. Little House on the Prairie

The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!

Ask about a camper hookup, outdoor arena for riding, weather permitting, and pens for your horses.

The Hide-A-Way

Have fun in the heart of pheasant country on the east edge of Winner, South Dakota. This newly remodeled space has been converted from an old lumber yard into a homey and comfortable space. It's less than a mile from town and is conveniently located on Us Highway 18. Within walking distance to the drive-in theater and local museum.

Enjoy a vaction from fast paced life and slow down at this quiet piece of paradise. Located one mile from Merritt Dam. You can enjoy all the great activities at Merritt Resevoir or Prarie Club golf course during the day and come back to unplug and unwind in the privacy of the serene cabin property in the evening.
