Under The Tree is a charming homestay nestled in Thal, a serene coastal village located between Mandwa and Alibag. Just a brief 5-minute stroll from Thal beach, the property is situated approximately 20 minutes by car from Mandwa Jetty. Built in the 60's and recently renovated, this bungalow is surrounded by betel nut, coconut, and chiku trees. With a focus on privacy and comfort, we accommodate a limited number of guests, making it an ideal choice for small families seeking a tranquil getaway.

The house is surrounded by coconut groves, mature mango trees and a lovely lawn. The home built in traditional Konkan style has used teak wood from a 100 year old bungalow and all materials and labour have been sourced locally. You can enjoy walks around the farm and nearby villages, a dip in the pool, or just put up your feet with a book. All this just 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai.
