Howard’s Mountain Lodge is the start for all outdoor adventure in Tongariro National Park, Ruapehu Skifields The lodge offers a variety of accommodation for all budgets. Daily transport to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and the 42 Traverse Mountain bike track, Rental of ski equipment, tramping boots and walkingpoles. Come and enjoy all that National Park has to offer then relax at our lodge with facilities that include, free wifi, 2 fully equipped kitchens, open fires and a pool table.

Walk along the awa, enjoy a bonfire at the firepit, walk up to the prayer hut for some peace or see local glowworms light up the bush.
