Overlooking our orchard with sweeping views of native bush, this retreat combines the luxury of a spa, sauna, and ice bath with the comfort of a modern, freshly built space. Everything here is new—from the deck and outdoor area to the thoughtfully designed interiors—offering a serene escape that feels both private and connected to nature. Kingfisher cottage -outdoor bath, fire, sauna

King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

The Abode

The Abode, a short walk to everywhere, is a cosy well appointed apartment, ideally situated in the heart of Mt Maunganui between the main surf beach & harbour. Enjoy views of the swimming pool and a glimpse through trees of the ocean from balcony. There is a sauna and gym. A private right of way to the ocean is a bonus .The Abode is an all-season getaway. Everywhere is a short walk; surf beach, harbour, Mt Mauao walking tracks, cafés, restaurants & boutique shopping on Mount MainStreet.

There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.
