Sunset Beach House - gorgeous beachfront getaway!

Sunny, spacious and warm with vibrant colour inside and out, Sunset Beach House has a mix of vintage and modern furnishings, and everything you could wish for, for a holiday or getaway at Otaki's beautiful beach. Fully equipped with four spacious bedrooms on a quarter acre section, there's plenty of room to spread out and relax. A house for all seasons, enjoy leisurely beach walks, sun, surf and sand in the Summer, or cosy up by the fire in Winter and take in the snow on the beautiful Tararuas.

Not only are you beachfront but around the corner from the golf club and tennis courts. This wee gem is one of five holiday bachs, so respect of the other owners is premium, as is yours. You have your own very private, sun drenched sheltered deck with a bbq provided. A queen bed in one room, and a double and single in the other. The kitchen has all your essentials and even a dishwasher. There is a TV with a Chromecast, children's games, toys and videos are plentiful. Walk in and just relax.

Richcrest Farm Stay-Self contained Cabin

Richcrest Cabin is built for two people. Off the grid and eco-friendly. Set beside a small lake and totally private. Enjoy the company of New Zealand's beautiful birds, Tui, Fantail and an abundance of Kereru. The cabin provides a stunning peaceful private retreat to escape from the trappings of modern life. Double glazed, fully insulated, and an infinity gas heater for warmth. Situated on a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef hill country farm. Marked farm walks for you to enjoy.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Halford Hideaway

This is a luxury self contained Tiny house. Nestled on the edge of a pond surrounded by expansive gardens and farmland. There are some small walking tracks to take you around the QE ll Trust wetland and ponds, and for those that are a little more energetic a walk to the top of the hill can provide you with stunning views. Perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy an outdoor wood fire bath over looking the pond! Unfortunately cell ph reception can be patchy at the Tiny house.

Bach living in the Dunes - stunning views

Location, location, location! This 70's era bach is located right in the sand dunes, with gorgeous views from the top floor. Initial entry is via the front door, and the lift takes you to the second floor. (There are no internal stairs) This is an original NZ bach and requires you to PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS THANKYOU. (I can supply if you're travelling) There are 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds upstairs and a queen, and 2 children's bunks downstairs.

You'll be in a marine reserve, yet only 12 mins to the city centre and airport, and 5 mins to the shops, cafes, bars & cinemas. It is nature at its wildest on the edge of the city.
