Sunset Beach House - gorgeous beachfront getaway!

Sunny, spacious and warm with vibrant colour inside and out, Sunset Beach House has a mix of vintage and modern furnishings, and everything you could wish for, for a holiday or getaway at Otaki's beautiful beach. Fully equipped with four spacious bedrooms on a quarter acre section, there's plenty of room to spread out and relax. A house for all seasons, enjoy leisurely beach walks, sun, surf and sand in the Summer, or cosy up by the fire in Winter and take in the snow on the beautiful Tararuas.

Not only are you beachfront but around the corner from the golf club and tennis courts. This wee gem is one of five holiday bachs, so respect of the other owners is premium, as is yours. You have your own very private, sun drenched sheltered deck with a bbq provided. A queen bed in one room, and a double and single in the other. The kitchen has all your essentials and even a dishwasher. There is a TV with a Chromecast, children's games, toys and videos are plentiful. Walk in and just relax.

A Modern Little Gem on Jetty Road, a unique bit of privacy while still nice & close to the waterfront with private direct access to the beach. The perfect place to get away from it all in modern comfort. Romantic escape, friend/family get together or some alone time. With access to several add-ons to enjoy a more retreat type stay Professionally Cleaned between guests Like most bach’s out here linen isn’t included. We do have access to an optional extra full linen service if you’d prefer.

Richcrest Cabin is built for two people. Off the grid and eco-friendly. Set beside a small lake and totally private. Enjoy the company of New Zealand's beautiful birds, Tui, Fantail and an abundance of Kereru. The cabin provides a stunning peaceful private retreat to escape from the trappings of modern life. Double glazed, fully insulated, and an infinity gas heater for warmth. Situated on a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef hill country farm. Marked farm walks for you to enjoy.

Oden Estate -Self sufficient flat, minutes to town

Oden Estate is working farmlet, yet only 3 minutes to Masterton, 6 minutes to Carterton and gateway to Mt Holdsworth. Set in tranquil surroundings down a tree-lined drive, with the majestic Tararuas as a back drop, with a stream at your back door and it's just a few minutes walk to the river. Our philosophy is sustainability and thus the flat is totally off-grid with a composting toilet. Oden Estate is great for those wishing to relax and unwind or as a central base for the many activities.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Aslantis - a stunning beach front oasis.

Aslantis Beach House marries Art Deco and Spanish Mission architecture with inspiring ocean views, fabulous front gardens and a wonderful Mediterranean style courtyard . A 1 to 2 minute walk and you'll have access to a well stocked 4 square dairy, takeaway and pub (including pizzas) A 15 minute drive and you'll be in Hastings. Havelock North or Napier, one of the Art Deco capitals of the world. Aslantis Beach House is a great getaway for couples and business travellers.

Halford Hideaway

This is a luxury self contained Tiny house. Nestled on the edge of a pond surrounded by expansive gardens and farmland. There are some small walking tracks to take you around the QE ll Trust wetland and ponds, and for those that are a little more energetic a walk to the top of the hill can provide you with stunning views. Perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy an outdoor wood fire bath over looking the pond! Unfortunately cell ph reception can be patchy at the Tiny house.

Bach living in the Dunes - stunning views

Location, location, location! This 70's era bach is located right in the sand dunes, with gorgeous views from the top floor. Initial entry is via the front door, and the lift takes you to the second floor. (There are no internal stairs) This is an original NZ bach and requires you to PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS THANKYOU. (I can supply if you're travelling) There are 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds upstairs and a queen, and 2 children's bunks downstairs.
