Casa del Scottie is a charming updated apartment, once home to an officer during WWII. The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! It is situated conveniently between the fresh, upscale town of Appalachacola, and the scenic state parks of Wakula Springs. Lanark is a beautiful place to stay to explore the history and breathtaking beaches of the Forgotten Coast!

Next door to Lanark Village is a boat dock, convenience store and country club with bar/restaurant. Carrabelle also has a boat dock, marina, restaurants, and shops.
