Welcome to the Grafton Chateau, a gorgeous secluded and private country retreat for all of your family and friends. With six bedrooms and a den, four baths, two fireplaces, a sauna and a large private pond beautifully situated on 67 acres of woodlands, the Grafton Chateau is the perfect comfortable home base for ski trips, hiking, antiquing, or just enjoying the scenery while you sit around the fire pit. The garage has outdoor recreation gear, like snowshoes and sleds. The den has a variety of toys, and games for kids and adults. The whole house, sauna house, barn and all 67 acres are all yours! We are always available by phone, text, or email if you have any questions. Grafton is just about the most charming Vermont town you can find and is convenient to four ski mountains and every other outdoor activity you can imagine.

Many old maple and pine trees, hiking trails and breathtaking views will welcome you along the the drive here. If you'd like to book a healing retreat I offer Reiki sessions to guests. Kitchen is equipped with cooking essentials+ hosts provide water, coffee, tea, milk, fresh eggs + homemade soap. There is an indoor compostable toilet + outhouse + outdoor shower. Most seasons, the cabin is 100ft from parking, but weather conditions may require an 800 ft walk from parking at main house.

The Sterling family has owned this pretty place since 1982 and a design studio operates in the barn portion of the space. The open living room with TV and original fireplace adjoin a "tea room" with a bright bay window. Family chef-approved, guests are welcome to use the spacious kitchen.

Close to swimming holes, hikes, country stores, flea and farmers' markets, and ski mountains (Mt Snow and Stratton) Pets and children are welcome, but there is only one queen bed.
