It’s the perfect place for a cozy winter break, Perfect for couples, or for a family to enjoy a tranquil break on the on the Isle of Purbeck. Full of original character, the 145-year-old cottage has been renovated and extended into a wonderful home.

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

A beautiful listed building located on a quiet lane in the centre of the pretty market town of Blandford Forum, offering the perfect place to explore Dorset or simply relax in one of the cosy sitting rooms and indulge in one of the house's many books. Plenty of board games and DVDs will keep the younger ones entertained or get outside to the nearby River Stour to spot otters and kingfishers (just a 5 minute walk from the house) or head in any direction to Dorset's spectacular countryside.

Within just a few miles are many beauty spots, tourist attractions, beaches, forest and Poole Harbour. An abundance of things to see and do in this stunning part of the world!

New forest shepherds hut, idyllic woodland retreat

This is a custom built shepherds hut in our secluded private woodland with direct access on to the open forest. It can be warm and cosy with a log fire in the woodburner, or open the stable door to let the outside in. Alternatively sit outside on the wooden decking with a fire pit in the evenings. There is a 'camp kitchen' with a gas barbecue, fridge, butler sink and covered seating area, or walk to one of our local pubs for lunch or supper. There is an outside tap and electricity on site.

The Cottage is an open plan building next to the entrance to Corfe Common in a tranquil setting. Downstairs there is a King-size bed & upstairs there are 2 single beds .
