Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

The High Country Hobo Preserve: Rustic Cabin

Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

Cedar Crest

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon. (Kids sleep free) For pet owner, the east side of the cabin has a fenced-in space. We recommend you do not let them be there unsupervised as a motivated mountain lion could jump the fence and arm your pet.

Pheasant Hill Cabin, cozy and dog friendly

This quaint cabin is near the heart (1.5 miles) of historic Julian, CA. A private, fenced property, this is the perfect place for a couple's getaway, a nice family vacation or even just a group of friends looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. A fenced back yard is perfect for a dog, while the enormous front deck allows for a great hang out spot and night time star gazing. You can walk to town (it's a good walk) or bike. The interior is knotty pine and high ceilings!

There is another cabin next to this one, that sleeps two, that I also rent. NO Partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am.
