The Lucky Shot Cabin

Our cozy Alaskan cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the wild backcountry of Hatcher Pass, Skeetawk ski area, and the gorgeous cross country ski and downhill bike trails of Government Peak Recreation area. It is the ideal adventure landing-pad with all the warm comforts of home you would need after a big day in the wilderness. Palmer and Wasilla are a mere 10 and 15 minute drive in either direction with groceries, amenities and unique local dining options in abundance.

The cabin feels secluded and peaceful, yet is in a central location close to all the Palmer/Wasilla area has to offer and also a quick drive to Anchorage. Enjoy some local coffee or tea on the deck, admire art by local Alaskan artists, and sit by the fireplace and read a book by an Alaskan author. You are sure to be cozy in this home away from home.

Our spacious deck overlooks the lake with built-in seating. Kayak or paddleboard, chill around the propane fire pit or cuddle up inside with the woodstove (supplemental, cabin has a forced air furnace!) 2 bedrooms, small room has a King bed, larger room has 2 Queen beds. Get ready to RELAX, you're on lake time!

A peaceful escape retreat, the Aurora Lights Cabins are independent, family-run, studio cabins in a picturesque setting overlooking the Chugach Mountain Range and backed up to protected wilderness land which hosts sandhill cranes in summer and moose year-round. Our meticulously designed cabin offers unique salmon-themed decor, a king-sized bed OR 2 twin beds, black-out curtains and blinds for relaxing sleep even in the midnight sun, air conditioning, heater, bathroom, and a kitchenette.

Quaint rural cabin near Hatcher Pass

A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Beautiful new log cabin that's perfect for families or small groups. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2 bathrooms. It has a large great room with a spacious kitchen and dining area on one side and a living area on the other. This cabin has beautiful views of Pioneer Peak and surrounding mountains. It's very close to many recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, fishing, 4 wheeling etc. It's 40 minutes from Anchorage. Washer and dryer in cabin. No pets please

Cabin in the Woods AKA Chez Shea

Cabin in the woods in the heart of Wasilla. This cabin is located on our beautiful 3-acre property with its own private driveway. It has electricity, heat, and an RV-style water system. The neighborhood is quiet and down-town Wasilla is only a mile away and connected by sidewalks or bike trails. Venture to Hatcher's pass for picturesque hikes or to the Iditarod headquarters to mush with the huskies. There are many lakes nearby, fine cuisine, parks and other entertainment.

Nestled between two lakes with some of the best lake trout fishing in the Matanuska Valley, enjoy your stay at our quaint 1940's homestead cabin. Don't worry, we have added modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable. Sip coffee at my granny's table while you plan your day, take in the mountain views from your kayak on the lake, and enjoy a cozy evening campfire. Make this cabin your home base as you explore some of Alaska’s top attractions!
