Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Welcome and thank you for considering our cabin. We set out to create a space where you can relax and have fun with your fur babies. To many of us, these precious beings are our family, and what better way to explore the area than with them right beside you? No pet, no problem, you are of course, very welcome as well! Just 10min to Boone, 12min to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. For skiing enthusiasts you are; 15min to App Ski Area 30min to Sugar Mountain 45min to Beech Mountain

Lakefront cabin with private deep-water dock and sweeping mountain views on Watauga Lake. Loon Tunes cabin sits in a peaceful cove perfect for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing by the water. Enjoy coffee on the deck and evenings around the firepit as the sun sets behind the mountains. Inside, you’ll find a bright, comfortable space with fiber internet and a kitchen outfitted with quality cookware, serving pieces, and the basics needed to enjoy relaxed, home-cooked meals during your stay.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Large front porch, both covered and uncovered. 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom. Large eat-in kitchen and dining area. Brand new couch and love seat. Very large yard with flat ground. House is single level for ease/convenience. There is large hot tub which can fit 4 or more adults. House includes an access ramp in case needed. Lots of parking for multiple cars or boats/trailer

Located at the top of a mountain in the Cherokee National Forest, this home is the perfect getaway from the city with no street lights or engine noise! 4/10 of a mile to Lake Watauga and the Appalachian Trail. >15 mins to zip lines, hiking & under an hour to the NC ski slopes. Route to home is on paved, all season roads. Driveway is steep, but parking available on the street also. NO FIRES ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY.
