Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. This is a comfortable self contained one bedroom cottage at the rear of a large garden behind our home. Our villa is well over a century old. The train station is next door and 20 minute on the train takes you to the city and Stadium. There’s a restaurant and a cafe just outside our gate and a 10 minute walk to the village where there is a pub, more cafe/dining options, supermarket and shopping. Walking/hiking up Mt Kau Kau and along the Northern Walkways is right at our doorstep

We are 8 kilometres from the centre of Martinborough heading south on the way to Lake Ferry. You can enjoy a leisurely wine tasting at our cellar door with David who is always happy to talk wine. We will also transport you to Martinborough so that you can spend the day investigating local wineries or dine at one of the town's fine restaurants.
