The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and meals, is a mere 20m across the square, it is best to reserve a table. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house being adjacent. The Retreat is set in a rural location and has lots of original features with a modern feel. With ample off road parking and close to the Stillington-Easingwold road its the perfect base to come back to after a visit to the many local attractions. The market town of Easingwold is 2 miles away and the City of York is 12 miles. The North York moors are close to hand and if you fancy venturing further you have the coast and the Yorkshire dales

Millfield乡村小屋

Upgraded in summer 2023 with re-decorated bedroom/bed sit; brand new bathroom fitted; and kitchenette added with fridge, mini freezer, hob, convection microwave and air fryer. Come and go as you please through a private entrance and enjoy the views over Yorkshire. The annex is a completely private space attached to the main house. The main house and annex are stone-built and sit on half an acre of landscaped gardens.
