The Top Paddock

Welcome to the top paddock! This is glamping with a side of real camping in the Tasmanian bush. Goats and sheep will stroll around and you have over 20 acres all to yourself to explore. We're located up a gravel road on the north west coast, you won't find any other tourists here. Soak in the wood fired tub, under the blackwood tree. Cosy up to the wood fire, roasting marshmallows in your star Gazer yurt. A comfy queen bed and a backyard of adventure, its a Tasmanian version of luxury camping.

The Reef at the edge of the world

Kick tha sand off ya toes after your 150m walk back from tha beach and take in the sweeping views and sunsets over the edge of the world and arthur river. or even better, soak away the day in our restored outdoor cast iron bath. Then ya could pour a drink at our Gin Bar, light the fire in the “man cave” and relax while the sausages burn on the bbq. Kids have a sandpit, basketball, boardgames. Get some rest tho, tmorra your fishing, 4wd’ing, hiking or even a river cruise. Welcome.

This 19th century 2 bedroom homestead is an idyllic scenic secluded haven. Slow down to taste the fresh clean air & wonder at the vast night sky. The stars are amazing. Go platypus spotting, for waterfall rainforest walks, or book farm animal visits. Escape the everyday to relax, rejuvenate & be surrounded in nature. Located in the picturesque north west Tasmania hinterland Buttons Cottage is 15 minutes drive to the Leven Canyon wild river, 20 to the coast, & 60 to Cradle Mtn.

'Mistover' Farm Cottage & Galloway Stud

'Mistover' is a 32 hectare property with pasture, bushland, creeks, dams and plenty of space for your pets to run! It is home to Galloway cattle and long term resident Jonesy, the English Pointer, who loves visitors! The accommodation is a two storey, 2 bedroom, self-contained stone cottage with open fire place and private balcony. 'Mistover' is situated along the Murchison Highway, 20 kms from Burnie/Wynyard Airport and is on the doorstep of the Tarkine Wilderness!

The Wombat Burrow - Waratah (for Cradle Mountain)

Get back to nature in our lovely, comfortable and private 2 bedroom villa, decorated in an industrial wilderness decor and with all the comforts of home so you can make the most of your stay. Perfectly located only 50m to the lake and playground and within easy walking distance to everything Waratah has to offer, including museum, pub, cafe and service station. A scenic 40 minute drive to Cradle Mountain and 45 minutes to Burnie and the main shopping district.

Police Superintendant’s Cottage - 4 Reid St

The Police Superintendants Cottages is a cosy two bedroom cottage with a spa, an open fire place and a large flat screen TV, there is also a full laundry. The main bedroom has a Queen size colonial bed suit & the second bedroom has three single beds. This cottage was the original the Police Superintendants cottage in Strahan & was built in circa 1880. It has also been used as a lock up and served as a court house in its day as well. Pet friendly cottage.
