Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Woodlands Nordic Spa Retreat

Recharge at this romantic retreat, complete with outdoor sauna. The cabin independently nestles on a forested hillside at the top of Trepenier Bench, overlooking Pincushion and Okanagan Mountain. Unwind and relax with a private, wood-burning sauna, cold plunge tank and outdoor fire pit. The cabin is close to wineries, trails and restaurants, located minutes from downtown Peachland. Welcome to our cozy A-frame cabin nestled on the outskirts of Idyllwild California. This secluded retreat is the perfect place to escape the hustle & bustle of the city and reconnect with nature. The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, and a wood-burning stove, perfect for cozy nights in. Step outside & you'll be greeted by the beautiful natural surroundings. Relax on the spacious deck & take in the views of the surrounding trees, valley & mountains.

This is not just a stay, it is an experience ! Nestled under a canopy of trees, between ancient rocks, the Dome sits on an elevated deck with breathtaking vistas. The Dome features a panoramic window, providing stunning views. Situated on a 3-acre private property in the center of Three Rivers, California, the Dome offers an ideal location. Features include one queen size bed , a bathroom, a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. Wi-Fi and a Smart TV are also included.

Tree Top Studio

Find your Peace in this cozy light filled studio in the treetops of the Siskiyou mountains. The studio is very private with views in every direction of trees, earth and sky (no other buildings in sight). You have direct access to trails leading to old growth forest and a refreshing year long creek. The studio space is an inspiration for artists and lovers of fine details. The kitchen meets all your basic culinary needs. Living room has cozy nooks. Bedroom upstairs has a comfy queen size bed.

Its forever home on a beautiful spot of Kern River, just south of Big Daddy Rapids. Private Waterfront with River Access, cedar hot tub, patios, gas BBQ, fire pit, outdoor shower, speedy WiFi & the coolest vintage vibe. Has queen bed, single sofa bed, indoor bathroom, a/c & heating, refrigerator, stovetop, all kitchen tools. Endless relaxing fun!

Private Modern Treehouse on Highland Farm

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

Only 8kms off the highway, on good roads, it seems you're a million miles away. Our place is a quiet, 200 acre ranch, in a natural paradise. Small town nearby for basics. 45min to 2 larger towns with all amenities. Completely private, waterfront with misc very friendly livestock on site. With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.
