Welcome to the Hole in the Rock Yurt — a truly special retreat with stunning views that we’re sure you’ll love. The yurt is super warm and cosy, perfect for relaxing in comfort. It sleeps up to four guests with a king bed and a pull-out double sofa bed. If you’re travelling with a larger group or family, we also have a studio on the property that sleeps an additional four guests, featuring a king bed and a pull-out double sofa bed. The Cookhouse - Beachside Hannah’s Clearing, Haast

Welcome to "The Cookhouse". Suituated a short 20 minute drive south of Haast, Hannahs Clearing is a small township established in 1962 to house workers the Carters Sawmill. The historic Cookhouse was built to cook for workers at the Mill, which eventually closed in 1979. The house sits in amongst native plantings on the beach side of the road, with access to the beach. The home is warm, cosy and sympathetic to its era. A fabulous getaway no matter the weather, for couples & families
