Perfect for walkers, the village of Belstone is on the north edge of Dartmoor National Park, yet only 5 minutes from the A30. Sheep and ponies graze freely through the village, and as you walk past the excellent Tors Inn the moor opens up giving access to hiking, biking and horse riding activities. Once you have arrived in Belstone you can leave your car and simply enjoy the walks and outdoor pursuits Dartmoor has to offer. Okehampton with it's range of shops is an easy 10 minute drive away.

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

St Anthonys Cottage is a few minutes walk from Belstone with The Tors pub, tea room, church, village stocks, and Dartmoor on your doorstep. Private garden, parking, wifi, lounge and well equipped kitchen, on the first floor are two bedrooms one double and one twin, bathroom.

This compact 17 square metre space has, within its own private entrance, a small, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, a little bedroom with double bed (135cm x190cm) and an en-suite shower room. We also offer free car parking, secure cycle parking and Wi-Fi. There are three separate steps leading up to the property.
