The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! This beautifully designed open plan stone and glass house sits in a private reserve in the unique Magaliesberg conservation area, surrounded by indigenous bush with extraordinary views of the mountain. Raised veranda overlooking a private garden, fully fenced and gated with built-in outdoor braai and bonfire areas. Hosts small to large-sized (social) dog breeds.

You will have time to recharge your batteries. The cottage is off the grid but with all the facilities you require. The plunge pool is for your use only and it is not heated. Peace & quiet and beautiful surroundings make this cottage very special and a birder's paradise! The cottage is pet-friendly.

If you and your family need a quiet, peaceful breakaway then Red Earth farmhouse. We are just across the border in North West We are a child friendly venue. There is still small buck, baboons, porcupines, monkeys, rabbits and a variety of bird species on the farm. 3 bedrooms, main has king, 2nd has double, 3rd has 2 single beds. Note that the host's living space is attached to Red Earth. He has a separate entrance and does not infringe on your private space.
