Historic Limestone Cabin with Loft in the Country

My place is a historic limestone building with a loft, located on my family farm. One mile away from the interstate and 6 miles north of Ellsworth, you’ll love its convenience as much as its coziness, history, and quaint charm. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

An Ozark Oasis in the middle of a working cattle ranch, this custom designed home offers deluxe comfort. With multiple decks, porches and views out every window, this home is the perfect getaway for romantic retreats, family and friends to relax and make memories, artists and writers to host workshops or retreats, or even the single person to just get away from it all. Private Spring Fed Reservoir w/paddle boat

Off the beaten path, approximately 1 mile down a bumpy dirty road you will find a hidden gem. At the edge of the Ozarks in the heart of green country is a small cottage located on a beautiful one acre spring feed pond. You can see the spring gushing out of the hillside. Our cottage is small, cozy, and very relaxing. Whether you are kicking back watching the tube or paddling around the pond you will feel right at home and may not want to leave. Whippoorwill Retreat Treehouse

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

The Highland Hideaway (with Highland cows!)

The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. A small herd of Highland cows live here. A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

Winery Cottage - Chevalier Vineyards Hocking Hills

Stay right in the vineyards of a small, farm-to-table, family run winery! The Winery Cottage is a quaint two bedroom cottage tucked far enough away from the winery for complete privacy yet close enough to walk just a few minutes past the vines to enjoy a glass of wine in our winery tasting room. The cottage is nestled alongside a private natural spring pond, and has its own entrance and driveway. Enjoy all the panoramic vineyard views and tranquility that this unique property has to offer.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
