Welcome to the Lodge at The Light Center! The Light Center is a spiritual non-profit retreat center dedicated to Prayer & Meditation. The Lodge is an open large lodge that is welcoming and rustic. All rooms may be individually rented. Please know our lodge is unsuitable for children under age 12 due to our sunken living room with granite stairs, two outdoor granite staircases, and a 1950s style balcony. We have a large communal kitchen, living room, & dining room. Our cleaning protocols excel.

ADVANCED NOTICE REQUIRED. Our Main Lodge is open during operating hours Tuesday-Saturday.

The Tahimek Mountain Lodge is located in a secluded, pristine, mountain cove. Surrounded by tall hardwood trees, with views of the sunset and surrounding mountains. A peaceful retreat for guests seeking a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. We only accept children 13 years or older. Pets are not allowed. Located on 34 acres in the heart of Sumter National Forest, just 5 minutes from the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River, our rustic post and beam lodge, music loving tavern, 8 guest rooms and 17 creekside campsites will create memories that last a lifetime. Room 7 has one queen and is on the more social Courtyard Side. No private baths but the large marble bath house is steps away. All rooms have a rustic/lodge/mountain feel with vaulted ceilings, mini fridge, pod coffee maker and 40" tv.

Inner Quest Inn Room: Private spacious upstairs loft area, "one room efficiency floor plan" with queen bed & skylights. Fully equipped kitchen: frig, stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, coffee pot & dinette table. Shower bathroom. Electric fireplace & couch. There is a separate double bed adjoining this room - that can accommodate a third person. (Please note: No children under the age of 12 years as this Inn Room is in the same structure where we offer our quiet peaceful Spa services.)

Our 22-acre campus extends to the New River, allowing for onsite fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The Master King Suite has a jacuzzi and is located on the main floor with private access to the deck.
