You’ll fall in love with this hidden gem. Nestled in a secluded corner overlooking the sheltered West End of New Zealand’s favourite beach. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, watching the surfers from your private deck. A 30 second walk will see you basking on the beach or surfing the safe west end break. You’ll feel miles away from the rest of the world surrounded by native bush and birdsong in this peaceful spot and drift off to sleep at night listening to the sound of the waves.

Ohiwa Hideaway

TWO DAY MINIMUM STAY Genuine Old Kiwi Bach backing on to the Ohiwa Harbour. Great summer retreat or weekend getaway whether your idea of I relaxation is action packed activity or chilling out and watching the world go by. Please Note: bedding & Towels not supplied. Section backing onto Sheltered Harbour & just across the road is the Ocean Beach, Kayak’s avail , must bring your own life jacket’s NOTE: Security camera monitors driveway. Bring your own horse to stay in a covered yard for $35 per horse per night. This includes the use of a 60 x 40-metre arena & lake & trail access.

Come and enjoy this totally unique native bush setting where you will truly feel a million miles from anywhere. Relax and unwind on the massive wrap-around deck offering expansive views, or enjoy some of the endless activities. Walk straight off the deck and down the steps to the wood-fired spa pool and stunning Lake Rotoehu. Swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating and bush walking are on your doorstep. The Barefoot Lodge is great for couples, families (with kids), and groups of up to 12 people.

Lakeside Luxury

We can accommodate 2 extras in the Pod Room at extra cost. Located in the heart of Rotoma, close to Cafe , boat ramp & GAS station. One of only 10 properties on the lake side with a reserve area at the rear of the property. 30 minute drive from Rotorua & 40 minutes from Whakatane. Suitable for family groups wanting spend time together, or couples wanting time out. Dec - March & long weekends, priority will be given to longer bookings, particularly for January which will be 5 nights or more.

Ohiwa Harbour Studio

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking a grassy reserve & native bush, this self contained studio features a brand new ensuite and kitchenette. Take in the beautiful view of Ohiwa Harbour and the native birdlife from the comfort of your bed or from the private deck. Make use of our kayaks and paddle board on the harbour, relax in the heated pool, or take an easy stroll over to Ohope beach for a swim. Kids, infants and pets are welcome for short stays, contact me to discuss options.

Life can be busy so why not recharge at ‘The Lakehouse’. A peaceful and quiet serene retreat. The Lakehouse offers something for everyone and there is a boat ramp at the end of the driveway! Located at Ōtautū Bay, Lake Rotoehu. Central location- Only 25 minutes to Rotorua Airport, 1 hour to Tauranga, 2 hours to Hamilton, and 3 hours to Auckland. Kayaks and swimming equipment free for your use! Or just enjoy the beautiful lake view and meditate surrounded by the native bush.

Ohope at it's best, loved family home

Our beach house is a real treasure. Over the last 10 years we have worked hard towards what it is today and would love to share this little piece of paradise. It has easy indoor/outdoor flow and beachy interior. The beach is across the road, through the dunes and onto the beach. The house is easy living with all the modern cons and a few games to match. It has 3 bedrooms with one bedroom set up Marae style which sleeps 5. The other 2 bedrooms have a king bed each.
