Cozy Lockwood house between town and junction. Beautiful in summer, and utterly special next to the wood burner on a winter's evening. Not to mention the heat pump and the front deck spa! Library and DVD collection available for your use for those indoor days. Fenced back garden for kids. Large covered deck for bikes and skis/boards. Towels and bed linen provided. The house is an 80's Lockwood, so has a certain rustic, cabin vibe. If you want ultra modern, probably best look elsewhere..

Come back in time with us. Just 24km from State Highway 1 you enter the hidden world of Rangiwahia. Rangiwahia is quiet, ideal for downtime or a good nights sleep whilst travelling. Enjoy relaxing on a sun soaked back porch with birds swooping by, or cuddle up by the fire when it's chilly. 3 neighbouring Native Reserves give a range of Bush walks. It's a great base for local activities. Clear creek to cool down in or great swimming holes only a short drive. We are on the NZ Cycle trail.

The Paddock has one bedroom with a queen size bed and sofa bed, plenty of room for your luggage, tastefully decorated in a french country cottage style with large stacker doors that take in the view, ready to welcome in the mornings with a coffee from the coffee bar.

* No cleaning fees :) * Relax and unwind on our small peaceful farm guest sleep out. One bedroom one bathroom sleep out with kitchenette. One king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. Would suggest this for children only for the limited room. Can provide a travel cot for infants if organised in advance. 10 mins drive away from Kai Iwi beach and a 20-25mins drive to Whanganui. We are situated on the main highway but far enough to not hear traffic. Great location for kids to run around.

Master bedroom with ensuite & King bed, 2 additional rooms both with Queens. Warm & cosy with wood burner & additional electric heating. Beautiful mountain views with deck to relax & have a drink on those sunny nights. Great place to come back to after your day on the mountain, bike trails, or hiking. Large shed to store gear.

We have recently installed a cedar hot tub, our guests have exclusive use of this anytime during the stay. It is not available to friends or family of our guests.
