Secluded Renovated Retreat Surrounded by Nature

Get away from it all in a secluded, yet modern cabin, which guests have loved for its "silence and beauty" and called "peaceful" and "serene". Located on the Lakefalls Estate, which maintains the roads, Mended Oar features heated floors throughout, a well-furnished kitchen with quality appliances and equipment, and luxurious linens. Hike the many trails outside the door on the snowshoes you'll find, then come inside to enjoy the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) and play a board game.

Cozy Lakeside Tiny Home, Near Skiing

Hot Breakfast and Lunch INCLUDED every day in your stay. Our general store, located 5 minutes away, will make you fresh egg sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. For lunch, come in and get fresh made subs or our famous brick oven pizza slices. A perfect getaway for couples, friends, or family in every season. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, ice skating and boating on serene Sadawga Lake. It's a quick drive to skiing at Mount Snow, shopping and dining in Wilmington, and direct access to the VAST trail.

Waterfront Camper on Private Lake

Enjoy your morning coffee right on the water at private Tinmouth Pond. A beautiful lakefront property where you can kayak, fish and toast marshmallows over an open fire pit. Firewood, 4 kayaks, row boat, paddle boat, and life vests are included. Great hiking is close by in the Green Mountain National Forest and there is lots to explore in neighboring Manchester and Dorset. Enjoy peaceful nights rest in a fully appointed camper with Wifi, television or just unplug and get away from it all!.

The River House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the Connecticut River. Large 2-tier deck with steps to private boat dock right on the river. Wake up to amazing views of the river with the stillness of nature around you. Superb water skiing with 18 miles of wide, deep river. Excellent fishing. A habitat for bald eagles. Boat launch 1/4 mile away. Under 1 hr to major ski areas including Okemo, Mount Snow, Stratton and Magic Mountain. 15 min to Brattleboro Ski Hill. Granite Gorge 30 min.

Kayak, canoe, fish and swim or float, nap on the hammock in summer months.. Walk, hike and enjoy the awe of Fall color.. Snowshoe, skate, ice fish, cross country ski on the frozen pond during winter and enjoy downhill at Mt Sunapee just 8 min away or just relax by the wood stove!! The Lake Cottage: A Sweetwater Stay

Welcome to Mattawa Cove! Originally built as an Ice Fisherman's shack, this tiny house is unapologetically elegant and understated. The private dock can be viewed from the wall of windows in the open living space. Walk to the shore, sit with your feet in the water, swim, fish, or kayak. It’s the ultimate, all-year romantic getaway. With excellent Wi-Fi, you can stay as connected as you'd like to the outside world. 1.5 hours from Boston or Providence. 3.5 hours to NYC.

Wildlife Lakeside Cottage

Fully furnished , totally remodeled ( completed in Feb. 2016) CURRENTLY BEING UPDATED and RENOVATED, (March and April 2025!) private cottage set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere. Seasonal weeds do grow in the adjacent lake which can impact water activities, especially in the summer months. For conditions message Jill.

Come enjoy a lakeside getaway at, newly constructed, High Oaks Lodge on Cossayuna Lake! Situated 25 miles from Saratoga Springs, NY and 33 miles from Manchester, VT.
