Suitable for two or three people, the apartment has recently been renovated and has beautiful finishes. The bathroom has both a hot tub and shower, toiletries are provided together with plenty of good quality towels and a hairdryer. The king sized bed is dressed in quality linen and offers a comfortable nights rest. Extensive wardrobe space for unpacking. The entrance to underground garage is on the Longmarket street side of the Cartwright building - first set of black roller doors - drive up ramp and slightly to the right is parking bay C2. Please only park in this bay. Located in the city centre, this is a vibrant area and the ideal place to base yourself to explore Cape Town's major attractions! The V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Clifton and Camps Bay beaches, CTICC, and Museums are all a short drive away. There are many restaurants, bars and coffee shops within walking distance. My City bus terminal and taxi rank right outside Cartwright building. I like to meet my guests if this is at all possible. I live in the same building (a few floors up) but if you are unsure of your arrival time the keys to the apartment can be found in the post box 1101 located at the reception desk. Upon arrival ask them to get them from the box for you. If you have a car secure and designated parking can be reached by entering the underground parking garage on the Longmarket street side of the Cartwright building. Enter at the first set of black roller doors-drive up ramp and bay C2 is slightly to the right. Also on the bunch of keys is a white credit card. Scan this in the elevator to reach the 11th floor. Perched on the Tamboerskloof hills overlooking the City Bowl, this humble, beautifully textured and colorful home offers a cool, tranquil escape from the bustle of the town below. Stepping under the huge lemon tree, past the little sun-drenched plunge pool and through the antique studded door, you'll feel as if you were just plucked from a Moroccan seaside village, complete with mosaic tiles, woven ceiling mats and raw stone walls. Both bedrooms and the entire living and kitchen space open separately through big doors to the outside areas, cooled by the shade of the trees. Here's your oasis!!! Guests have full access to the home. I live nearby and am always available should you need anything. This home is in a hip neighbourhood on the side of Signal Hill. Round the corner is one of the city's oldest delis, currently called The Blue Café. Stroll downhill to quickly reach a cluster of restaurants, bars, delis, and shopping centres. Uber is hands-down the easiest and cheapest way to get around. The home itself is quite far up a steep hill, so walking from the bus stop (especially with your shopping) can be testing. If you do have your own car, there’s space for a normal-sized car inside the garage area. Garbage collection - the truck comes to collect every Thursday. I’d ask that guests please roll the big bin out onto the street before 8am in the morning. Please do not put the bin out the night before.
