Welcome to our house in the woods! 12 acres surrounded by trees and above a series of waterfalls along the Stony Kill, which runs all the way from Minnewaska State Park through our property and into downtown Accord. You can sit in a hammock outside, soak in our hot tub while listening to the river, or chill out inside with some tunes or the TV projector. Budding entomologists will enjoy the endless procession of bugs, ants, spiders, ticks, and other creepy-crawlies that is part of River House.

Positioned 90 minutes away from NYC, the house is central to everything you want to do in Upstate NY.

The cottage is on a scenic country road, walking distance to 3 farms, including 2 great farm-to-table restaurants: Westwind Pizza/Apple Orchard, Arrowood Brewery, & Hollengold Farm. A stone's throw are Stonehill Barn and Inness. 15 min drive to the incomparable Minnewaska State Park.

Wake to forest views in a modern A-frame with 2 bedrooms, including a cozy loft. Hike nearby trails, soak in the cedar hot tub, or visit local breweries. Note: Guests must be 13 or older, and all teenagers must be listed on the reservation. Pets are welcome with prior approval, agreement to pet rules, and payment of the pet fee. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi, Little Minka is unique, handcrafted using Japanese traditional carpentry joinery methods. Soaring ceilings, shoji, and tatami complete the interior. Outside there's a fire pit, open cooking area. We have a wood fired hot tub available on request from March - November. We have Japanese bathroom products in partnership with sowakanyc that guests can experience.

Additionally, there are two twin XL rollaway beds (also memory foam) for your use. All in all, the house comfortably sleeps 8.
