To be near Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon is a plus. # The Shelter_En The great attraction of the house is the wonderful view and the garden, where guests can relax in a hammock, lunch or dinner and enjoy the view. THE HOUSE... ... has one bedroom, living room with a great view, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. We can provide a baby cot and we also have a sofa bed (double) in the living. There is TV, Wi-Fi and music! WHERE The house is located in the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais, near the beauty of the Serra de Sintra and the Atlantic Ocean. By car, you'll find: - In 5 minutes, Guincho beach, very popular surfing (with surf schools); - In 10 min., Cascais, charming little village full of restaurants, stores and bars that cater to all tastes and needs; - In 15 min., Sintra, Unesco World Heritage Site, one of the best places to visit, especially the 'old village' and Palaces (Palácio Nacional da Pena, Palácio Nacional de Sintra, among others). - In 30 min., Lisbon. You can use the highway (A5 Cascais-Lisboa) or you can go by train from Cascais. Once in the city, you can use the subway. The Shelter is rented for a minimum of 3 nights. The newly renovated Casa Bohemia has a spacious and light-filled living room, with a wood-beamed ceiling and fireplace. The adjoining bedroom, has a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. A private courtyard leads to an antique stone-bath for romantic outdoor bathing. Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.
