Relax, explore and unwind in this large, cosy apartment on our organic farm, in the foothills of the Serra da Gardunha mountains. Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Tem as comodidades adequadas para uns dias sossegados, com aquecimento de ar-condicionado e electrico, um frigorífico, um micro-ondas, um pequeno fogão de indução, uma cafeteira elétrica, um liquidificador, um grelhador a gaz e outro a carvão no exterior e máquina de café (cápsulas Delta).

The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)
