Welcome to this cozy welcoming guesthouse, a peaceful escape in the heart of Auburn, CA! Nestled on a charming little family farm, our cozy guesthouse offers the perfect blend of rustic comfort and peaceful nature. You can explore Auburn's historic downtown a few minutes away or go on scenic hiking trails in the area, or simply relax and reconnect with nature in a serene setting.

Hummingbird House is a tiny house decorated in a vintage style, with quality craftsmanship, making use of all recycled building materials. Tucked away on 20 acres with gardens all around, goats, hens, ducks, dogs and cats. The house is newly remodeled and has kitchen, bathroom, double bed, single bed/nook/couch, and dining area table and chairs, with modern heating and air conditioning. Coffee, herbal teas from the garden, sugar, honey, creamy goat milk and cheese are all supplied from the farm.

We are minutes from world famous trails, 10 minutes from the river, and an hour from the ski slopes. There is just so much to do right outside of our doors!

You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
