Chic, Cottage-Style House on Balboa Island

The house was renovated with all new appliances and decor, but the chic cottage feeling reminds you that you are on the charming Island of Balboa, Many of our repeat visitors are 3 generation families. the grandparents, children and grandchildren, who love their "trundle room". The sand and bay are just steps away. Bikes, SUPs, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, games, for both inside and out. We even have a baby pool to use on the patio for little ones. Also a port a crib and high chair if needed. There is a tenant in back who will share the W/D in the garage, but the rest of the property and equipment is yours. I usually meet the guests on arrival to show them around and of course to meet them. I live just a few miles away, so am available if they havr questions, The home is situated on Balboa Island, a little-known gem. Main Street, which is just 2 blocks away, has unique shops and several restaurants. The ferry to Newport Beach is just a short walk from the house. Kayak, bike, paddle board, or simply relax on the beach. Walking or biking are the easiest ways to navigate the Island! We have a garage for your use, and Fashion Island and Newport Beach are close by. Balboa is a lovely little community and some of our neighbors live there year round, so we ask our guests to respect that the houses are close by, and to bring their visiting inside at 10 on weekdays and 11 on the weekends.

Private room is separate, secure and quiet-so no access to main house is available. However, host family is on-site to answer any questions and make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Hosts are long-time area residents who have owned and lived in this home for over 10 years. A directory of local shopping and restaurants is provided, along with complimentary wi-fi and cable TV. The home is in a unique and desirable location and offers easy access to village life and the beach from a quiet residential neighborhood. It boasts access to city parks, tennis courts, golf, and trails for biking and hiking all nearby. Sunny and spacious home on the water with private dock and private roof patio. Home has modern appliances, new bbq, new washer and dryer, as well as cookware, dinnerware, linens and bath tub. Each bedroom includes private bath with shower and 2 have bath tubs. Master BR has private patio with great views of the water.Beds are very comfortable and outdoor patio is great for breakfast next to the water. We have much experience and many positive reviews.
