Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

It is a 3 min walk to Chew Valley Lake and 20 min stroll through fields to Chew Magna village, with pubs, restaurants & shops. We are also on the Sustrains Cycle Way. We are close to Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and Wells. A welcome pack of tea coffee, milk & water is provided to get you started, all towels and bedding included. No cleaning charges. Free parking.

It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Chew Valley with plenty of walks and pubs, and we are within easy walking distance of Chew Valley Lake. Whilst being only 30 minutes from Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar, you will also be on the doorstep of The Mendips Hills, An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Lower Brook Cottage is a cosy 18th Century cottage located in the picturesque village of Woollard within easy reach of Bristol & Bath. The Cottage has two bedrooms and is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and we are also dog friendly (1 small/medium sized well behaved dog is welcome!). Ultra fast fibre broadband is a recent addition for guests needing to work from the cottage or simply surf the internet .

Beautiful newly built Cabin cruiser, double . and a WC. There is a shower and WC in a lean to near the boat There is also free use of cycles, canoes and rowing boats subject to availability. Boats are heated by electric and electric blankets when required.
