It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Chew Valley with plenty of walks and pubs, and we are within easy walking distance of Chew Valley Lake. Whilst being only 30 minutes from Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar, you will also be on the doorstep of The Mendips Hills, An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Lower Brook Cottage is a cosy 18th Century cottage located in the picturesque village of Woollard within easy reach of Bristol & Bath. The Cottage is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and we are also dog friendly (1 small/medium sized well behaved dog is welcome!). Ultra fast fibre broadband is a recent addition for guests needing to work from the cottage or simply surf the internet .

It is a 3 min walk to Chew Valley Lake & a stroll through fields to Chew Magna with pubs, restaurants & shops. We are on the Sustrains Cycle Way. We are close to Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and Wells. On arrival there will be provided a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and water to get you started.
