Countryside getaway in your own very little garden cottage separate from the main house. Double bedroom, bathroom and a newly fitted kitchen / living area. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Pets considered.

The Cheesehouse is a unique and charming self-contained country retreat, which has been lovingly converted from an historic dairy building. It is set in peaceful surroundings with a large garden area and outdoor table & seating. From its door there are many stunning walks with spectacular views across three counties. Nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat and Bath. Adjacent to the property is a resident artist’s studio where painting and drawing workshops are available.

There is off street car parking included. We are based in central Bath with the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the city centre only a 10 minutes walk away. Please note that it is STEPS ONLY access to the property.

GERTIE - Gertie is our beautiful home built traditional shepherds hut and is ready and waiting for guests. She sleeps 2 people in a king size day bed. Is fitted with a kitchen containing cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. En-suite rain shower, Burlington loo, heated towel rail and stacks of hot water. Cosy up next to the log burner and enjoy the recently installed wood fired Hot Tub which has become a popular addition.

Step back in time to this grade 2 listed heritage home and enjoy the whole upstairs: bedroom, dining room and bathroom to yourself. Easy access to the popular artisan quarter of independent shops& cafes ,theatre across the road ,train station, cheese&grain for gigs,pubs,market and restaurants within 10min walk. You will have full access to the upstairs of the house. My cat Simba and I look forward to welcoming you!
