No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

Luminoso e spazioso bilocale di design situato al primo piano della struttura, ideale per brevi e lunghi soggiorni, in una zona centrale e commerciale di Cassano delle Murge. A pochi metri, si trovano diversi negozi alimentari di produzione propria, bar e pizzerie. Inoltre, si trova a pochi passi dalle fermate dei bus per l’ospedale Miulli e per Bari. Per giunta, Cassano delle Murge, oltre che essere un borgo caratteristico si trova in una zona equidistante fra le città di Matera e Bari.

The small cottage in the hill is a pleasant place and in perfect, harmonic tuning with the nature. The house features the great advantage to be warm in winter and cool in summer. It is a walk away from the town cente, the old town and shops; just 5 minutes away. The SITA bus stop for Bari is 150 ms away from the cottage. The pool is for the exclusive USE of guests. However, due to its size it is not possible to heat it. Therefore, it can be used from June 1st to September 30th.

This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
