One of a kind cottage located on the Hood Canal with amazing mountain and water views! Come by car, boat, or seaplane!. Spend a relaxing visit listening to the waves lap on the beach while sitting on the deck taking in the mountains and wildlife. Home is on a large, wooded parcel with 200' of private beach. A perfect cozy winter retreat, you are right on the low bank waterfront of a private lagoon, & the Hood Canal, surrounded by woods. Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Located just 60 miles north of Olympia on the on the scenic Hood Canal, Weather-N-Heights resort was lovingly built and enjoyed by my parents for many years. Recently updated to it's original splendor, it sits right on the shore with spectacular views looking south down the canal. This property has it all. Whether it is swimming, fishing or watching the local wildlife right from the deck or hiking, waterfalls and exploring everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer within a short drive.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Flowrohr’s Farm is centrally located to everything the Olympics has to offer: hiking, diving, oystering, clamming, crabbing, fishing and exploring. Enjoy from this lovely first floor unit with hot tub, private patio and views of Hood Canal and Mnt Rainier. The property is a farm in progress - you're welcome to walk the grounds and you'll find farm fresh eggs to welcome you. As you explore, be sure to have a picnic by the pond, walk the nature trails or play horeshoes with a view.

Relax at this peaceful beach getaway. Bring your paddle boards and head down the stairs to the water, or just enjoy the beautiful hood canal views from our deck. Under 10 miles north of Hama Hama, where you can pick up fresh local seafood and enjoy great cuisine. Close by to Lena Lake, Murhut Falls, Olympic National Park, Rocky Brook Falls, and many other attractions on the Hood Canal. We have three kayaks available (two single, one double) for guest use.
