Country Living in a Forest Setting

Come stay in your own cozy, rustic mini apartment, a little over 25 minutes from the Portland suburbs, and about 45 minutes from downtown Portland. Our home sits on two wooded acres. You'll have a private deck, private bathroom, private entrance, and private living space. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon/sofa in the living area that makes a twin-size bed. Check-in time is after 4 pm. Early check-in is possible, just contact us. No Smokers! One pet on approval, up to 45lbs.

Welcome to your private one-bedroom apartment in Welches, Oregon! Just 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows, this cozy retreat is perfect for two guests (or three with a child under 12). Located on the first floor of our home, the apartment has high-speed internet and a comfy space to unwind after adventure. Since we live upstairs, you may occasionally hear footsteps. For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. The neighborhood is peaceful and your private patio is the perfect place for a beverage and some bird and squirrel watching. If it rains, hang out in the gazebo! Hope to host you here!

No smoking in the unit. There is a smoking hut on the property you are free to use should you choose to (bring a container with you to dispose the remnants). SE Portland is a 30 min drive and downtown Portland a 45 min drive. One hour to Mt. Hood, & falls in the Gorge. Pool open 6/15 through 9/5.
