Immerse yourself in the quintessential Vermont experience at Storeybrook Farm. This rescue horse sanctuary is located amidst rolling hills, mountain vistas and a tranquil pond. "The Carriage House” is our largest suite with a fully equipped kitchen (stocked upon request), that opens up to a dining area with forest views. The living room features a woodburning fireplace and 2 built in queen bed "bunks". Enjoy sun-soaked pasture views from the main bedroom or while soaking in the clawfoot bathtub.

Nestled in the Rolling Hills of rural Vermont, our Pet Friendly 3BR/2.5BA Lake House has Tasteful Furnishings, Modern Conveniences, and an airy, open design. Enjoy your stay swimming, boating, or fishing on the lake in the summer or exploring the rich history of downtown Newport (15 min drive) and skiing at nearby Jay Peak (30 min drive) in the winter. You will be welcomed with Luxury White Bedding, a Fully Equipped Kitchen, a Beautiful Private Lake Front Dock, and all the Comforts of Home :-)

Pristine Lake Location in Vermont

Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

The House of the Setting Sun, Private Apartment

The House of the Setting Sun is a great place to rest, relax & re-energize. Located in a family friendly neighborhood, while still within walking distance to restaurants & close to downtown Newport. The apt has its own dedicated WiFi, easy for working remotely. Downstairs is a room with a ping pong/pool table. You will have your own deck, where you can sit & enjoy a cup of coffee to begin your day or unwind with a glass of wine as the sun sets. Hosts on site and ready to assist if needed.

Tavern - Charming Loft

This charming loft on the third floor offers privacy and open airy views of the surrounding countryside. Complete with kitchenette, private bathroom, queen size bed, television, dining for 4, small desk area & comfy sofa chairs. Internet access. Enjoy easy access with this centrally located place. Pop downstairs to the Tavern for great food and drinks or call for room service. Noise Notice: Friday & Saturday nights a live band plays music at the Tavern untill 11 o’clock. No pets.

MINI BREAKS WELCOME! Welcome to our cozy two-bedroom condo featuring stunning views of Lake Memphremagog with a private balcony. Enjoy access to the lake and heated pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This first-floor (upper-level) condo offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a comfortable living space. The open-concept kitchen and dining area flow into a bright, inviting living room, complete with baseboard heating. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO AC in the summer.

Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.

Located in the heart of Brownington Village, and about 15 miles from the Canadian border, our property allows for easy access to many scenic locations. Enjoy all that Vermont's Northeast Kingdom has to offer including many beautiful lakes, hiking trails, bike paths, and ski areas. There are about a dozen homes in the village and you will hear traffic going by, including horses and buggies carrying our Amish neighbors.
