The master bedroom features a comfortable king bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed. Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown and scenic hiking trails.

25 mins to chairlift & 5 mins to downtown, with access to an amazing beach, a Jacuzzi hot tub time machine, Rancho Balsaccò North is central to both downtown Juneau & to pubs, food & historical hikes in Douglas. Walk the beach, watch the eagles, look for jumping fish with a fantastic view of Juneau. Ground level private entrance, comfortable new Queen bed & blackout blinds make it easy to sleep to the sound of the creek. The private road to our small beach front neighborhood adds to the charm.

We love our place on the Mendenhall River! Eagles, bears, deer, porcupine, and otters are common sights in the backyard while the soft rush of the glacier-fed stream provides a soothing background. We are located in the upper Mendenhall Valley, just a 5 minute drive from the Mendenhall Glacier & 3 minute walk to the Brotherhood Bridge trail which takes you into deep old forest almost immediately. The river is ever changing and always beautiful & peaceful. We are available, but don’t intrude.

Relax in this 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a full laundry. Enjoy riverfront sunsets from the open-air covered deck, 25 feet above the ground. The bedroom has black out window shades for a peaceful rest and there’s a sleeper sofa to accommodate up to 4 total guests. Take a stroll to the Mendenhall Wetlands trail, 300 yards from the doorstep, along a 3 mile trail maintained all year. The apartment is one of two on the top level, so you’ll need to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the door.

Relax with the whole family at our Alaskan Beachfront villa. It has the best views in all of Juneau! 20 min drive to Eagle Crest Ski resort! Minutes from the harbor! Go fishing & head home with a freezer full of Halibut and Salmon! Deep freezer in the Unit! Holds a couple hundred lbs of fish or game. Fully stocked Kitchen Propane grill Coffee Bar Privacy curtains / blackout Smart TV Extra Blankets This unit is waterfront and has stairs. Not ideal for guests with mobility challenges.

Be careful not to leave out your picnic basket as you may encounter one of our local neighbors but if you do give them their space!
