After walking down several stone steps, nestled among trees and flowers, you will find a guesthouse filled with a comfortable lounging area, and a quaint bedroom. Then exit to the back deck and spend time sitting by the fish ponds, you can venture onward to explore the Secret Garden where you may spot different butterflies, birds, and even friendly bees. This tiny house awaits you at the end of a gravel road, on a half acre of open yard and sky. Watch birds fly over and listen to the ocean. You are 1.8 mi. by bike to the beach, 2 blocks to the banks of the Mad River, and Hammond Trail. Access your cozy sleeping loft up the ladder, cook in your well equipt kitchen, enjoy an on-demand shower inside, and a charming privy with a flush toilet outside. Perfect launchpad for any adventure! Halfway between Arcata and Trinidad, 3 miles from ACV Airport.

Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Walking distance to the Majestic Arcata Community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt. As Arcata natives, we wanted to bring you a unique and unforgettable Humboldt experience.

A cozy experience at this studio located just minutes from the heart of Arcata and the beautiful redwoods awaits you! There is one queen sized bed and a SMALL couch that can transform into a little bed. This property is located in a friendly neighborhood, and it has an added convenience of being right near a grocery store. These conveniences may not always bring the quietest location, but you’ll feel like one of the locals. Amenities: Free parking, WiFi, a mini-kitchen.

The YumYum Bungalow Cottage

The YumYum is an eclectic studio cottage nestled between town center and the redwood forest. Cal Poly, the Community Forest trails, and the Arcata Plaza are all just a short, lovely neighborhood walk away. She was lovingly crafted from local timber and stone.
