Relax, unwind in the peaceful Pacific Northwest. Cozy sun-filled studio apartment located in Arcata a block from Humboldt State University, and just three blocks from vibrant downtown Arcata, an interesting university town with gourmet restaurants, cafés and eclectic little shops nestled between Humboldt Bay and the redwoods. The studio apartment easily accommodates three with a comfy queen bed and full size futon.The futon is perfect for one adult or two children. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. Furnished with a beautiful mix of antiques and unusual flea market treasures, oriental rugs, original artwork. Parking on the alley, private entrance, access to the lovely, private flower-filled garden. Arcata's Redwood Park has extensive trails through the big trees a short walk away, just a few blocks from the apartment. Ocean beaches are a ten-minute drive. Cable TV, dvds old school vinyl record player and records, Ethernet Internet connection. No minimum stay, no cleaning or service fees. Smoking is allowed, but only in the garden. Sorry, no pets of any kind, no exceptions. Maximum three people, no exceptions.Maximum stay is two weeks. Your hosts: Bob and Amy

Walking Distance! Cottage

My guesthouse is a few blocks from the Arcata plaza, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, art and culture. It is a 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute drive to scenic Trinidad and you can walk or bike to the marsh. You’ll love my place because it is near the heart of Arcata. Everything is at your fingertips. A couple blocks off the plaza means you will get the access without all the noise; a great combo. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Ferndale's Sweet Retreat is just two blocks from main street, it is walking distance to many of Ferndale's great restaurants, and shops! We have a three bedroom house each bedroom has a King bed and In addition we have two pull out sofa beds one is a queen and one is a full that are both located upstairs in the family room. All bedrooms have their own TV, 5 total in house. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a large meal.

The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom. We provide wonderful amenities including coffee, teas, continental breakfast items and snacks for our guests. A small to medium size dog is allowed but with our approval and an additional nonrefundable pet fee.

Modern Redwood Retreat with a huge yard

Whether you are adventuring or passing through, this charming retreat has everything you need. It's located down a quiet country road that feels far away from town but is only 4 easy miles from Arcata, home of Cal Poly Humboldt, and 6 miles to Eureka. The clean and freshly decorated space has a queen-sized bed and a full-size futon-style couch. Both beds have been reported as VERY comfortable!
