Design Apartment with Balcony and View over Ghent Towers

All guests have a private apartment, there is 1 apartment per level. So there is a lot of privacy. Downstairs we have a laundry, which you can use. We have a chocolate atelier, where you are always welcome ! The setting is immediately adjacent to the city's famous Graffiti Street. A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

RAY guesthouse Gent is centraal gelegen op 300 m van het Gravensteen kasteel. Dit gezellig en lichtrijk verblijf bevindt zich in een verkeersluwe straat, in de oudste buurt van de stad, het Prinsenhof. Het huisje is smaakvol en gezellig ingericht met extra aandacht voor kunst en design. Er is een klein terras achteraan waar je je in alle rust kan terugtrekken. De woning werd ontworpen door architecte Marie-José Van Hee, wiens befaamde privé woning om de hoek ligt. Een oase van rust en stilte!

De gezellige en veilige buurt biedt een 7/7 supermarkt, winkels, bars, restaurants, nachtwinkel (allen op 1 min) en een groen stadspark met speeltuin in de onmiddelijke omgeving. De straat is verkeersarm en dus opvallend rustig. Het appartement biedt alle comfort.

Het appartement heeft een afzonderlijk toilet, een praktische badkamer met inloopdouche en dubbele wastafel. Er is een handige berging met was-en strijkfaciliteiten.

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.
