April 2, 2025: We have closed reservations on this house for the next several months as we do a major remodel. When it is finished we will have two bedrooms, full kitchen, and be completely handicapped friendly. -Dave My mother built this as her retirement house. She wanted a cozy, comfortable, house with a beautiful view. Wood floors, fireplace with firewood provided for the chilly Monteverde nights, beautiful windows so that you are looking down on the tops of the trees in the river gorge.

This spacious and comfortable house is located in the heart of Monteverde, surrounded by nature and it is just a short walk from the amazing cloud forest. Casa Guarumo has 5 private bedrooms and can sleep up to 24 people, making it perfect for large families or groups of friends. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, and the house has large common areas perfectly designed to have a cozy and fun cloud forest experience! We are awaiting for you with our firepit on, surrounded by trees!

Jaguar Houses is conveniently located between the center of town and some of the most popular attractions in the area such as Canopy Zip Lining, Suspended Bridges and the Santa Elena Nature Reserve. Inspired by Nordic architecture, Jaguar is composed of 3 independent homes, elevated on pillars, giving you the impression of floating on the trees. The 3 houses are identical however the view can slightly change from one to another. The photos used for each listing are a mix of the 3 houses.
