Get lost in a book while relaxing on a comfy daybed; kick your feet up and watch your favorite Netflix series; lounge in bed & enjoy the peace & quiet; or wrap an apron around your waist & have fun cooking a healthy meal & serve it out back on the farm table under the cozy strand of lights - after, roast marshmallows seated around the fire pit. Desert Wild is a two bedroom, two bathroom oasis with a pool and hot tub located in the safe residential neighborhood of South Joshua Tree. We are a 10 minute drive from the West entrance of Joshua Tree National park and a 5 minute drive to the downtown shops, cafes and galleries. Desert Wild is a place to unwind, relax and enjoy the slow pace of the desert. We invite you to cool off in our pool after hiking, soak in our bath and enjoy the cactus garden, or star gaze from our hot tub at night.

Welcome to DTJT (Downtown Joshua Tree) your much needed High Desert escape. Our newly renovated homestead cabins rest on five acres of magical landscape. At DTJT you can swim in the 50' salt water pool, soak in the hot tub, hang by the firepit, hike, bbq, rekindle, stay up, sleep in, stargaze, explore, namaste it up, dance it off, soak up the sun, howl at the moon, listen to the owl, feed the roadrunner, take an outdoor shower, crush it at corn-hole, and yes, we have Wifi and cell service.

The sunset patio is fenced for hot tub privacy (birthday suit level) and your dog. The cabin is set in a very sought-after location. It is close but far enough away for peace, privacy, and dark, starry nights. The village is only 8-10 minutes away, and Joshua Tree National Park's west gate entrance is only 15 minutes from the cabin.

There is an extra Large sofa-Bed, TV, and Hot Tub for soaking under the stars in with a hammock nearby. A portable Bluetooth device, record player, Filtered water, washer dryer, No parties or loud music please. Dogs welcome.
