Near hiking trails, 20 min. drive to Pinecrest Lake, 35 minutes to Dodge Ridge & skiing, local wineries, snow play, State Parks, Caverns and more. The Hideout is centrally located in the Stanislaus National Forest tucked away under the shady cedars of Long Barn, Ca. The Bohemian-Inspired space is perfect for couples, or solo travelers looking for a comfortable place to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Perfect home base to explore state parks, multiple lakes, rivers, and countless hiking trails in the area. Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, and Black Oak Casino, & the charming town of Twain Harte are all within 15 miles.

Cottage at the Broken Branch

Experience the historic Gold Country and Yosemite national park staying in this newly renovated 1800s mining cabin. Originally built in the late 1800s for the miners of the Crystal Rock mine, the cottage now has heat, air conditioning, highspeed wifi, a kitchen, and bathroom. The Broken Branch is a small working ranch, so the beautiful sunrise views include several horses, donkeys, and goats. It's about an hour and a half to Yosemite and only minutes from downtown Columbia and Sonora.

Haven in the Trees

Welcome to Haven in the Trees! I am grateful to share my little piece of joy with you and yours. You will be staying in a lovely warm comfortable studio complete with a wee fridge, microwave and all you need to enjoy a light meal. You can relax outside on a private deck absorbing the sounds and sights of nature or you can take a five minute walk into the quaint village of Twain Harte where you can enjoy an espresso, many delicious restaurants and unique shops. Camp Earnest King Yurt in Twain Harte

Welcome to Camp Earnest, a 21 acre former summer camp tucked into the Sierras in northern California, about 140 miles east of SF. You'll be staying in one of our brand new cozy yurts tucked into the trees and the hillside. Camp Earnest sits in a ponderosa, cedar and manzanita forest, with light snow in the winter and mild summers. We have a year round creek and hikes right off our property. Nearby are Dodge Ridge Ski Area, Pinecrest Lake, Calaveras Big Trees SP & Yosemite NP.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft from room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.

Nestled in a quiet forested neighborhood, this 3-bed, 2-bath log home provides a perfect hideaway in the pines. When you’re not enjoying forest views and grilling on the wraparound deck, you’ll be finding plenty of recreation activities in the surrounding wilderness! Enjoy Dodge Ridge ski resort, Pinecrest Lake, and hiking trails nearby, including park and upper Crystal Falls lake is just steps away. Back at the vacation rental, modern comforts and amenities await!

Quiet and Rustic family cabin located at the end of a cul-de-sac in quaint Mi-Wuk Village. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom in its original mid century modern vibe. Warm up in front of the wood burning fireplace, sit amongst the trees from our high perched deck. Make this your home base for hiking, fishing and swimming in the Sierras. In the winter, ski at Dodge Ridge or go sledding. Excellent wi-fi and zoom calling capabilities.
