There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

Charming 2-bedroom cottage in Old Kom, Kommetjie. Solar Powered electricity system, with inverter and battery. Stroll to the ocean at the end of the road and enjoy walks, surfs, swims and sunsets at The Kom under Slangkop Lighthouse. The Kom is a fantastic place to Stand-Up Paddleboard and SUP's are available to use during your stay. Close walking distance to The Kom, Slangkop Lighthouse, restaurants and shops. Long Beach is about a 10-min walk away. Suitable for a couple or young family.

The name Thula means “to be still” or “quiet” in Zulu and Xhosa, reflecting the peaceful atmosphere of both our home and our little surf town.
